About Dr. Ezeibe

Onyekachi Ezeibe, MD, is a compassionate physician and dedicated advocate for maternal and women’s health, providing expert, personalized care to patients at Capital Women’s Care in Arlington, Virginia. She has a strong clinical focus on benign gynecologic surgery, with particular focus in the management of fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, and ovarian masses, offering thoughtful evaluation and advanced surgical options tailored to each patient’s needs.

Dr. Ezeibe graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Howard University in Washington, DC, and earned a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Tufts University in Boston, MA. She completed her medical degree at Howard University and her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, where she served as chief resident and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

As the child of Nigerian immigrants, Dr. Ezeibe values cultural competency and multiculturalism in healthcare. Her training emphasized diversity, equity, and representation, shaping her commitment to improving Black maternal health and caring for underserved communities. In addition to comprehensive obstetric care, her clinical interests include contraception counseling, adolescent gynecology.

Dr. Ezeibe fosters a safe, open, and supportive environment where patients feel heard, informed, and empowered in their healthcare decisions. Outside of work, she enjoys international travel, reading, pilates, and exploring the diverse cuisines of the DMV area.
